18th-century chestnut console table with deep, dark patina developed over 200 years of use. This 6'+ table features carved drawer fronts, turned legs, and a trestle-style base. The carving continues around the skirt, making this table free-standing. 
The top reflects centuries of wear through old repaired cracks, gouges, gnarls, stains, minimal bowing and historic surface activity. Edges and legs show much distress with nicks, abrassions, cracks etc. Age-separation seen in drawer bottoms.
Signs of old dried wormholes consistent with early European furniture are visible throughout. Note this is from years ago and there is no current activity.
Restored, strong, and stable, this piece is ready to place and enjoy.
