20th century vintage Danish three-seat sofa upholstered in brown leather. Decorative nail head trim and the camelback silhouette are reminiscent of Otto Schultz style, while heavily carved lion’s feet in the front add further character and detail. The sofa has three removeable seat cushions in old, crushed velvet. The bench seat beneath retains original upholstery as well (with exposed batting underneath), and buyer may choose to reupholster or replace the cushions and support to suit their needs. The vintage brown leather has developed a great patina and shows age related with many stains, distress, and crackling. There are a couple of tears to the leather, including along the left front arm and at the front right corner under the cushion. Please note this sofa was not built to be freestanding, though that could be addressed if a buyer chooses to reupholster. The low profile and decorative scallop to the camelback give the piece a distinctive and handsome look. Sagging is seen underneath the bottom. Sold in original vintage condition with much wear and distress.
