Early 19th century Swedish Gustavian chest of three drawers, crafted in pine. The case is detailed with canted fluted sides and raised on tapered fluted feet, giving the piece a refined and classic form. Three drawers, each fitted with two brass ring pulls, provide useful storage, while carved dentil molding accents the top. The painted finish is newer and professionally applied in antique white with soft gray undertones, and the top is painted in a contrasting darker gray with taupe undertones. Restored, strong, stable, and ready to use. Minor cracks visible along the sides, along with scratches, nicks, and other signs of wear, are typical for age and use.
