Early 20th century carved oval mirror from Portugal, crafted in oak. Highly decorative carving accentuates the frame, with scrolls, leaf designs, and additional embellishment creating a rich and detailed presentation. The central oval mirror shows age related wear, including scrapes to the silver backing, all adding to the vintage appeal of the piece. Though from Portugal, the carving is reminiscent of Black Forest design. Solid, stable, and ready to hang. Some minor separation and repaired cracks are seen along the upper curved carving that embellishes the edge. Minor nicks, scratches, and additional separation are visible but do not impact the beauty or appeal of this striking mirror.
