Original oil on panel painting titled, "Queen Victoria's Horse Guard" by French historical and portrait painter Olivier Pichat (1823-1912). The mounted officer of the British Household Calvary is in full uniform regalia. Painting is signed in lower left corner and is in very good, aged condition. Gold gilt frame shows typical cracks, minor nicks and scuffs at edges. Painting and frame are stable, this painting is ready to be hung and enjoyed.
