This antique Black Forest carved mantel game clock was hand-carved in Germany during the 19th century. The detailed linden or walnut wood carving features a stag finial with doe below, surrounded by oak leaves and forest flora. Beautifully executed carving throughout this striking example of Black Forest craftsmanship. Solid, stable and ready to display. Clockworks do not function but key will be included. Typical age-related wear including minor nicks, cracks, and old repairs.
