19th Century Large Pine Apothecary Display Cabinet with 57 Drawers

19th-century Danish pine shop cabinet/counter, traditionally known as a Danish grocer’s desk. This substantial piece features upper open display shelving above a lower section with 30 drawers. This upper display rests on a lower cabinet composed of 27 drawers. Approximately 10.5' long and 7.5' high.
Each drawer is fitted with a wooden pull, offering practical storage with strong visual rhythm. One central drawer opens with a metal handle. Originally used by shop owners to display and organize goods, the open shelving allows for flexible modern display including as a bookcase. The 57 drawers provide a myriad of storage and organizing options (only one of the lower drawers is divided inside).
Typical age-related stains, scratches, nicks, cracks, variation in patina/color of wood and minor separations are visible throughout consistent with long use. Many drawer bottoms have been repaired or even replaced, assuring all function well.
Built in two sections for easier transportation and installation. Restored strong, stable, and ready for use.
