Canted fluted side posts with upper carved diamond medallion, raised panels with traditional diamond motif along the three drawers, all setting on four tapered fluted feet.
The newer, professionally applied white custom painted finish with soft gray undertones is perfectly distressed to fit the age and grace of this lovely pair of Gustavian chests and lightly revealing the natural pine below. 
Restored and ready for use, drawers function and open with two (reproduction) brass pulls each.
All nicks, scratches, cracks, distress etc. are reflective of age and use and does not detract from the function nor elegant appeal of this striking pair of chests which may also serve as nightstands.
