Canted fluted side posts with upper carved dentil molding, decorative carved panels on each of the drawers, all raised on four tapered fluted feet.
Each drawer has 2 brass pulls.
The newer, professionally applied and layered blue painted finish which has a soft, "mottled" affect (appears as light white dots) is perfectly distressed to fit the age and grace of this striking pair of chests which will serve well as matching nightstands. 
Restored, solid and ready for use, drawers function.
