This stately baroque cabinet stands on four turned legs with an "x-cross" stretcher resting on large bun feet that raise the cabinet while adding visual intrigue.
Two large heavily carved paneled doors open to reveal two standard shelves and additional upper 1/2 shelf. Interior is painted a (newer) contrasting scraped white. One lower slender drawer rests below the cabinet doors.
The old black painted finish has been scraped and worn down to the natural wood below, adding to the rich character of this cabinet from the late 1700's. Key and lock function.
This pine cabinet is just over 6.5' tall.
Restored, it is strong, stable and ready for use. All scratches, cracks (see front right panel), dings, and age-related separation at joints/seams are reflective of age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this baroque cabinet.
