19th century Danish column cabinet, with beautiful mahogany veneer throughout. The front is detailed with a convex paneled door curving outward flanked by carved and fluted half columns along the concave sides, giving the piece a classic and timeless architectural look. The old key and lock still function, and the door opens to reveal removable interior shelves for storage and display. While this narrow cabinet can stand on its own, it was mounted on a wall at some point in time, as seen by mounting fixtures on the back. Dovetail joinery is also visible from the back. Restored, strong, stable, and ready to use. A handsome column cabinet with beautiful veneer and a refined, enduring look.
