19th Century Long French Oak Refectory Table

19th century long French refectory table, crafted in oak with a rich deep patina developed through generations of use. The table rests on six legs joined by trestle stretchers, giving it a strong and grounded presence well suited for dining, work, or display. The top shows the honest wear that gives this piece its character, including many scratches, gouges, old repaired cracks, stains, and other signs of long use. The name Tony Nor is carved into one edge. Additional old repairs are seen to some of the legs, and reinforcement was added at some point in time. Restored solid, stable, and ready to use. A handsome long table with warmth, age, and the kind of worn surface that reflects years of life and use.
