19th century Danish Baroque large armoire, crafted in oak. The cabinet features multi paneled doors above two lower drawers, giving the piece a strong and useful form with generous storage. The newer professionally applied black painted finish has been distressed to reveal natural oak below, adding dimension and character to this very old piece. Cracks are seen in the left paneled door, with smaller cracks, scratches, and nicks visible throughout, especially along the edges, all typical for an item of this age. Age related separation of planks and old repairs seen along the back. Restored strong, stable, and ready to use. Please note the key did not work at the time of cataloging.
