19th century set of six Swedish dining chairs, crafted in oak with vintage light brown leather seats and backs. The chairs feature handsome harp shaped legs joined by a trestle base, giving the set a distinctive and grounded look. Large nail head accents outline the backs and seats, adding further decorative character. The vintage leather shows age related distress throughout, including stains, scratches, scuffs, some impressions, and crackling, all consistent with years of use. The oak frames also show their age, with particular wear along the legs and feet including nicks, distress, and some minor losses. Signs of old wormhole activity are present in the wood and are dry and no longer active. A very handsome set with warm leather, strong form, and classic old-world appeal.
