Pair of 20th century Danish chests of three drawers, crafted in pine. Carved dental molding accents the top, while lovely carved panels detail each drawer front. Two brass rings are fitted to each drawer to use as pulls. The cases have canted fluted sides topped by applied floral carving and rest on tapered fluted feet, giving the pair a graceful and decorative look. The chests have been given a professionally applied layered gray painted finish, distressed to reveal natural wood below and add depth and character that suit their age. Restored strong, stable, and ready to use. Minor scratches, cracks, and nicks reflect generations of use and do not detract from the beauty or function of this handsome pair.
