Pair, Late 18th Century Danish Oak Rococo Side Chairs

Late 18th century Danish Rococo side chairs, crafted in oak. The chairs feature graceful cabriolet legs joined by a turned stretcher and have gently curved backs that give the pair a refined and elegant silhouette. The oak has developed a beautiful rich patina through generations of use, and signs of old dried wormhole activity throughout now contribute to the aged character and appeal of the chairs. Cracks, scratches, and minor separation at joints are all reflective of age and use. The chairs are restored, strong, stable, and ready to use. The seats retain old vintage fabric that is stained, and we recommend the buyer reupholster in the fabric of their choice. The seats are removable, making this an easy project.
