Original hand painted Swedish two door cabinet dated 1771, crafted in pine with a dark aged patina. The original painted finish features yellow flowers and green vines set against a reddish brown faux wood painted background. The monogram PFS and the date 1771 are visible on both doors, adding to the history and character of the 5' tall cabinet. The doors open to reveal a single interior shelf. While the doors hang slightly ajar, a simple metal latch holds both securely in place. Cracks, scratches, nicks, and other signs of wear are visible throughout and reflect generations of use. Age related separation of the wood is especially noticeable along the left side. Restored stable and ready to use.
