Condition: Minor retouches. Numerous crackles throughout. One peeling along side the frame edge. 
Gold gilt wood frame in solid condition; typical age related nicks, scratches to surface and edges.
Jens Peter Møller was born in Faaborg, Denmark (1783–1854). After an apprenticeship as a house painter, he enrolled in the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen in 1803. I. P. Møller was a prominent Danish landscape painter, etcher, and restorer. A contemporary and close friend of C.W. Eckersberg, Møller is best known for his romanticized landscapes of Denmark and Switzerland.
