Early 19th century Swedish work console table, crafted in pine. Four drawers form the table skirt, including two larger outer drawers with interior dividers and two smaller drawers positioned at the center. The base retains its original old brick red painted finish, while the top was left in natural pine, creating a warm contrast.
Old repairs are visible along the legs. The natural pine top shows cracks and numerous residual signs of old wormhole activity, all dry and inactive. Scratches, cracks, dings, paint distress, and wear along the lower legs are consistent with age and generations of use. Restored, stable, and ready to use. This rustic table works well as a console, worktable, serving table, or kitchen storage surface.
