Early 20th Century Hungarian Pine Apothecary Counter with Eight Drawers

Early 20th century rustic Hungarian apothecary counter, crafted in pine. The base retains its original brown painted finish, now heavily distressed from years of use and revealing areas of natural pine beneath. A contrasting natural pine top adds warmth and highlights the straightforward utilitarian construction.
The counter includes eight drawers, each fitted with a large metal handle that serves as the drawer pull. It rests on bun feet and offers useful storage along with a strong rustic presence. Age related separation is visible between the six planks that form the top. Cracks, nicks, stains, scratches, and other signs of wear are present throughout, reflecting generations of use. Please note that the back is unfinished. Restored, strong, stable, and ready to use.
