This oak rococo secretary reflects the grace and class of European styling in the early 1800's. The dramatic serpentine drawers with curvaceous front add a romantic touch, all resting on attractive carved skirt and feet. The traditional interior with 8 unique, small drawers and central “cubbie” with small hidden storage underneath (see photos) offers perfect space to organize. It was later professionally painted with an exceptional blue painted exterior complimented by a soft dove gray interior, updating the look while adding to the classic Scandinavian styling. Fully restored, all drawers function, desktop is solid and ready to be used and enjoyed. A single key is included to open the desktop; an interior key is used as pull only for small cubbie.
