Early 19th Century Danish Gray Painted Pine Gustavian Chest of Five Drawers

Early 19th century tall Danish chest of five drawers, crafted in pine. The narrow upper drawer features a carved Greek key pattern beneath carved dentil molding. Four larger drawers below are each fitted with two brass ring pulls, providing generous storage within a tall, narrow form.

A newer professionally applied gray painted finish complements the Gustavian design. Speckled blue and antique white undertones are visible throughout the finish, adding dimension and character. Slightly curved fluted carved details flank the drawers, while tapered feet are topped with applied diamond accents. The back was likely replaced at some point. Restored, stable, and ready to use.
