19th century Swedish Gustavian corner cabinet crafted in pine, standing stately just under 7' tall.
This cabinet features traditional fluted canted sides and decorative diamonds along the panel doors, topped with carved dentil molding along the crown.
An old but later applied layered painted finish presents in gray with antique white undertones. The finish has been lightly scraped and distressed, revealing natural wood beneath and complementing the age and character of the piece.
The interior remains natural pine with interior shelving. The top curved shelf is notched as it was used to display family silver spoons and serving utensils.
Two original locks still function with old keys. Note, this was built as one unit and does not come apart for shipping or installation.
This Gustavian corner cabinet has been restored and is strong, stable, and ready to use. Minor age-related cracks and separation are visible but do not detract from the overall presence. Cracks, separation of planks seen along back.
