19th Century Swedish Gustavian Gray and Black Painted Console Table with Drawer

19th century Swedish Gustavian style console table, crafted in pine with a combination of older gray paint and a contrasting newer black painted top. The graceful base has curved front legs ending in carved lion paw feet that rest on a shaped platform base, giving the table an elegant and distinctive profile.
The older gray painted finish along the base is chipped, scratched, and distressed throughout, revealing areas of natural pine beneath. The newer black painted top has white and gray speckled details with subtle touches of brick red, adding dimension and contrast to the aged gray base. The top has also been distressed in areas exposing some of the natural wood below.
A single upper drawer includes interior dividers for organized storage. The back remains unpainted, consistent with the table's intended placement against a wall.
Restored, stable, and ready to use. All scratches, cracks, dings, and age related separation are reflective of age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this special console table.
