There is wonderful aged charisma to this drop leaf gate leg table that can serve as a side table, game table, demi-lune console or even small kitchen table.
The original painted brick red base has residual paint remaining with a red-brown appearance, while the (later added) white paint of the top has been scraped revealing aged pine with a warm patina after generations of use. 
When closed, the table is only 19” deep yet it expands to 35" deep when fully opened. 
The table has been restored, it is sturdy and ready to use and enjoy. Cracks, nicks, gouges and stains all visible along the top.
Please examine the close up photos to appreciate the aged patina of the wood. The scratches, cracks, dings, nicks and age related separation are reflective of age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this versatile table.
