Late 19th Century Hungarian Large Pine Chest of Three Drawers

Late 19th century large Hungarian chest of three drawers, crafted in pine with a warm waxed finish. Three generously sized drawers provide substantial storage, while simple columns flank the upper two drawers and darker beaded trim accents the upper edge of the chest. A simple carved and scalloped lower skirt continues into the feet, giving the otherwise restrained form additional decorative character. Each drawer opens using two brass ring pulls. No locks are present.
Typical age related cracks, nicks, scratches, and wear are visible throughout, particularly along the top and legs. Some areas, including places where old knots in the wood separated, were filled at an earlier point in time. The top retains old cracks, scratches, stains, and a larger dark mark that appears to be an old burn mark.
Age related separation is visible along several wood seams, particularly on the right side and along the lower drawer bottom. Small residual signs of old wormhole activity are present but are dry and inactive.
Restored, strong, stable, waxed, and ready to use.
