Large 20th century French bookcase crafted in oak which has been bleached providing a fresh feel to this large and stately cabinet. The upper section has four glass cabinet doors, with carved wood details accenting the glass panes. Adjustable interior shelving provides flexible space for displaying books, serving ware, collections, or decorative objects.
The upper locks function with the included keys, though the keys may also be used as pulls. The lower section has six paneled cabinet doors that open to reveal additional adjustable shelving. The lower keys are used as pulls only (locks do not function).
Scuffs, scratches, cracks and areas of discoloration are visible throughout and reflect years of use. Restored, strong, stable, and ready to use. The cabinet is built in two sections for transportation and installation; buyer should confirm it will fit through entryways before arranging delivery. Note there are a few small holes in back, possibly added at some point for cords to be put through.
