Pair of 19th century Swedish demilune console tables, crafted in pine with bold turned legs and simple skirts measuring approximately three inches deep. The versatile half-round forms can be placed separately against a wall as console tables or joined together to create a circular table.
Natural variation throughout the pine gives the pair considerable character, with both lighter and darker sections visible across the wood. A narrow darker strip with a subtle green undertone is present along each top. Some old knots and nicks were filled at an earlier point in time, and these repaired areas appear lighter than the surrounding pine.
Typical age related nicks, scratches, and cracks are visible throughout but do not affect the function or stability of the tables. Additional cracking is present along some of the feet, including the left rear foot of one table and the front center foot of the other.
Restored, strong, stable, and ready to use.
