19th century Danish sideboard, crafted in pine with two upper drawers positioned above two decorative paneled cabinet doors. Simple Fluted vertical carved details accent the drawers, while floral motifs decorate the doors and turned columns flank the cabinet front. Traditional front bun feet complete this Scandinavian country form. The drawers function smoothly, and the two cabinet doors are secured with interior metal snap closures. There are no locks or keys. Interior shelving provides useful enclosed storage.
Typical signs of age include scratches, cracks, nicks, and other surface wear throughout. Additional age related separation is visible between the planks along the top, back, interior shelf, and cabinet bottom. The largest visible crack is located along the left side.
Residual signs of old wormhole activity are visible along the top, feet, and lower base but are dry and inactive. Small nicks and areas of missing wood are also present along the turned columns.
Restored, stable, and ready to use.
