Danish chest of three drawers, crafted in pine with a warm waxed finish that enhances the natural color and character of the wood. The chest has a gently concave front with three large curved drawers, creating a graceful silhouette within the simple Scandinavian form. To create the curve, you will see vertical "seams" where the sections of drawer fronts fit together. Each drawer has two hanging brass pulls and provides generous storage. Front bun feet support the low profile and complement the understated design.
Several age related nicks are visible along the top, some of which were filled at an earlier point in time. Minor scratches and cracks are also present, including a crack toward the back where an old knot in the pine has separated. These signs of age contribute to the natural character of the chest without affecting its function.
