Early 20th century Danish small chest of four drawers, crafted in pine with a natural wax finish that brings out the warmth and character of the wood. Its compact proportions make the chest especially well suited for use as a nightstand or bedside storage piece.

Four functional drawers provide useful storage, with each drawer fitted with two simple wood knobs. The restrained design allows the natural pine and signs of age to remain the primary visual features.

Generations of use are evident throughout, including multiple cracks along the top together with typical scratches, stains, nicks, and additional cracking. Both sides show age related separation that appears as larger vertical cracks. The drawer bottoms appear to have been replaced at an earlier point in time.

Restored, stable, and ready to use. The wax finish compliments the variation of color and tones in the natural pine.
