19th Century Hungarian Pine Cabinet Sideboard with Drawer

19th century Hungarian sideboard, crafted in pine with a simple country form. One large upper drawer sits above a single cabinet door, while simple half-turned columns flank the drawer while carved feet support the cabinet. The upper drawer opens with a hanging brass handle. The cabinet door uses a metal pull and an interior snap closure rather than a lock and key, providing useful enclosed storage below.

Typical signs of age and generations of use include an old repaired crack and nicks along the upper drawer, together with minor scratches and nicks throughout the sideboard. Some of the nicks were filled at an earlier point in time. Evidence of old dried wormhole activity is visible including the bottom, feet, lower trim, and back; this activity is inactive and simply reflects the age of the piece.

Restored, stable, and ready to use.
