19th century Danish chest of four drawers, crafted in pine with a warm waxed finish that highlights the natural variation and aged patina of the wood. The upper and lower drawers are gently curved, creating a balanced silhouette around the two central drawers.
The upper drawer opens to reveal divided interior storage, while the two center drawers feature paneled fronts. The larger lower drawer echoes the curved form of the top drawer. Newer hardware has been added, with two pulls fitted to each drawer. Drawers may not fit tightly due to shifts in age, but all function.
Traditional front bun feet and rear block feet support the chest. The natural pine shows varying shades from lighter to darker throughout. Age related separation and cracks are visible along the left side and back, while the top and upper top trim shows some cracking, scratches, and additional variation in color.
Restored, stable, waxed, and ready to use.
