19th century Swedish sideboard, crafted in pine with a tall silhouette. Four upper drawers are positioned above four cabinet doors, providing generous storage while decorative carving adds architectural interest throughout the façade.
The two central paneled doors feature geometric carved accents and are flanked by gently curved outer doors. The upper drawers are detailed with simple vertical fluting, while additional geometric carving appears between each drawer. The cabinet doors open with simple brass pulls and the right is secured in the interior with a metal latch. There are no locks or keys.
The curved outer side cabinet sections open to reveal two interior shelves. Typical signs of age include vertical cracking along both sides, together with minor scratches, cracks, and dings throughout. Many older nicks, particularly around knots in the pine, were filled at an earlier point in time and appear lighter (almost white) than the surrounding wood.
Restored, stable, waxed, and ready to use.
