19th century Danish chest crafted in pine with gentle curves to each of the four drawers. Slightly canted front corners have simple carved details accenting the rounded drawers. Traditional front bun feet support the chest and complement its form.
Restored, stable, ready to use. Wax finish.
The top reveals old dried wormholes (no longer active) which adds to the authentic aged country appeal of this chest. There are additional wormholes seen along feet and elsewhere. Minor cracks, scratches, stains (see top), and nicks are visible throughout. Gaps and age-related separation seen along the back. All wear is consistent with the chest's age and generations of use.
