19th century French sideboard, crafted in oak with elaborate carving. The highly decorative carving has dramatic flair portraying the hunting bounty of duck, multiple fowl, oak leaves, and additional naturalistic motifs. Curved side doors are decorated as well, while further carved flourishes continue around the edges and throughout the façade. The two side cabinets open to reveal two curved interior shelves, while the two central doors open to reveal a single interior shelf. Doors open with simple key. Upper four drawers open with a drop-pull. Rests on four low bun feet.

The top shows one long horizontal age-related separation. Please review photos of top, which indicate there was likely once an upper display cabinet that has since been separated from this base (as reflected in the lighter vertical staining and areas there and along the back that were filled in at some point in time). 
Additional scratches, nicks, and minor cracking throughout the wood base reflect years of use and do not impact the function or impressive presence of the sideboard.
