Antique original green painted Swedish scutching knife with simplistic hand-painted vine details and the date of 1872. This Swedish hand-carved farm tool was used during the flax harvest season, but the hand-painted details raised it from a tool to a decoration as well, showing off the individual's craftsmanship and personal style.  Each one is unique, please examine the photos to appreciate details as well as areas of use, wear and distress expected in an item over 100 years old.
