This antique baroque oak chest of drawers from Denmark features a serpentine front, brass hardware pulls and an exceptional matte black painted finish gently distressed to match the age of the dresser. Notice the burnished gold and faint red trim around the drawers and edges that add a dramatic touch. Made in two parts, the four drawers rest on a base with cabriole legs. The lightly scraped off black paint creates a warm contrast with the natural oak beneath and brings out the curved details. The dresser has been restored, case is sturdy.
