This antique tall baroque oak chest of drawers from Denmark features a serpentine front, brass hardware pulls and an exceptional original painted finish that appears as a blue-steel gray. Please examine the close up photos to fully appreciate the texture, color and finish of this striking chest. Made in 3 parts, the top 2 drawers rest on the bottom 2 drawers which all sit atop the base with cabriole legs. The painted finish has been gently distressed over generations of use, creating a warm contrast with the natural oak beneath and brings out the curved details. The dresser has been restored, case is sturdy and drawers are in working order. Typical age related separation of planks in drawer bottoms that does not affect function. Please take a moment to enlarge the photos and examine the details up close.
