This lovely pine sideboard is unique for several reasons. The eight apothecary upper drawers over two cabinet doors is an interesting configuration, as is the slightly taller height of 45 inches to the top surface (50" high to the upper backsplash). Refer to photos of the upper left corner drawer as it opens to reveal and old cutting tool and petite smaller drawer directly underneath it; indicating there was a specific work use for this unusual cupboard. This pine sideboard or shop cupboard has been restored and waxed so it is strong, stable and all drawers function. Any nicks, scratches, old knots, cracks/separations are commensurate with age and do not detract from the beauty nor fuction of this delightful pine sideboard. While there is not outer pull for the cabinet doors, the right door stays in place with a "snap" function which can be easily opened.
