Pair, Gustavian Blue Painted Chest of Drawers With Greek Key Pattern, Sweden circa 1860-80

A pair of decorative Gustavian style chest of drawers painted in shades of blue, fitting their Swedish origin.
Traditional faux marble painted top and carved dentil moldings.
Three drawers, upper drawer decorated with painted Greek key motif.
Canted fluted side posts with upper carved medallion. Raised on four tapered fluted feet.
Restored and ready for use, later professionally painted.
One key included in each top drawer only, to use as lock and pull. Two brass pulls are used on the two lower drawers.
Any nicks, scratches, cracks, distress etc. is reflective of age and use and does not detract from the function nor elegant appeal of this striking pair of chests which may also serve as nightstands.
