Antique Oak Secretary Bureau, Denmark circa 1800-40

This oak secretary reflects the refined grace and style of early 1800's Denmark. The fluted carving along the mid-section and half columns at sides adds a decorative touch to the drop down desk.
The traditional interior has small drawers and cubbies offering space to organize.
It has been given a newer, professionally applied yellow/mustard painted finish with brown undertones and a contrasting black interior, updating the look and accented with brass hardware.
This secretary has been restored, all drawers function, desk top is solid and ready to be used and enjoyed. Any scratches, cracks, dings, or age related separation (including drawer bottoms) are commensurate with age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this lovely bureau/desk.
