This antique pine chest of drawers or "highboy" has 6 drawers, providing ideal storage in a narrow space.
The simple carving along the sides and bun feet were traditional style elements in furniture crafted in the 1800's in Denmark. Notice there are 3 brass pulls on each drawer, 2 on the sides to open drawers and the central serves as a key hole cover (hardware is reproduction in old style).
Restored and waxed, this 6-drawer chest is solid, stable and ready for use; drawers function.
Age related signs of wear such as nicks, scratches, old stains, etc. are a reflection of generations of use and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this handsome pine highboy.
