This pine kitchen island is a reproduction of grocer's counters seen throughout Denmark during the 1800 to early 1900's. 
The back is paneled making this cabinet an ideal free standing kitchen island while the open shelving allows for easy access to stored items.
The black painted finish has been distressed, revealing the natural wood below. Condition is strong, stable, and ready to be used and enjoyed.  Any scratches, nicks, distress add to the vintage look and feel to the island.
