This lovely long bench is a wonderful example of Swedish Gustavian craftsmanship with it's delicately carved spindles, decoratively carved skirt and back all resting on turned fluted feet.
Please refer to close up photos to understand the original gray painted finish softly distressed over generations of use. Much of the original finish is now worn down to the natural pine below, adding an aged grace to the bench.
The removeable 4" thick sofa seat and bolsters are covered in a used, vintage dark salmon colored fabric. Some stains and wear visible to the upholstery.
This Gustavian bench has been restored and is in solid condition.

All scratches, cracks, dings, and age related separation are reflective of age/use and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this elegant Gustavian bench.
