Large Rococo Oak Chest of Drawers, Denmark circa 1770-1800

This antique rococo large oak chest of drawers features a serpentine front, brass hardware pulls and is raised on a scalloped skirt base.
The newer, professionally applied and layered salmon painted finish has pink undertones and is gently scraped and distressed, revealing the natural wood below while complimenting the age and curved lines of the chest. Top is painted in contrasting black, note distress to top surface in photos.
This dresser has been restored, case is sturdy and drawers are in working order. Two brass pulls and key cover are on each of the four drawers.
All scratches, cracks, dings, or age related separation are reflective of age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this large chest of four drawers. Separation of oak drawer bottoms was typical in a chest of this age. At some point in time, someone replaced drawer bottoms and some planks of back with pine or different wood.
Please refer to professional photos for clear understanding of color, condition and details. Photo lighting, individual monitor display and home lighting may all impact how item is viewed.
