Rustic Peg Leg Console Table, Hungary circa 1890

The appeal of this 5.5' long rustic console table comes from the thick hard wood top that originally served as a work table, resting on strong peg legs.
Note the deep gouges, nicks, old cracks, and stains that all combine to build the vintage character of this console. The cut out at narrow end may have been to hold a tool (such as a vice) at one time. Refer to photos to understand this section/underside of table top.
While the peg legs splay out they remain under the table top which is wider than the base.
Table top depth: varies 22.5"-23"
Leg depth: varies 18.25"-21"
This table has been restored and waxed; it is strong, stable and ready to use and enjoy. There is a slight bow to the top but you can still safely place items upon it.
All scratches, cracks, dings, and age related separation are reflective of age and do not detract from the appeal nor function of this console.
Please refer to professional photos for clear understanding of color, condition, and details; photo lighting, individual monitor display and home lighting all impact how item is viewed. Photos are part of item description, please ask questions or request additional photos of specific areas if needed.
