Green Painted Pine Grandfather Clock, Denmark circa 1840-60

The curved bonnet, simple panel door, and slender case with lovely balance to face and base are all highlights of this delightful grandfather clock that stands just over 6' tall.
Take a close look at the intricate details of the original face and hands, created by a true craftsman of the era.
While the pine longcase and clockworks date to the mid 1800's, the green paint was added later.
Original clock works included, however they do not function. Many clients opt to add a modern battery operate function upon arrival.
Wood longcase is restored, strong and stable. All cracks, nicks, separation, scratches etc. are reflective of generations of use and do not impact function.
