Original Red Painted Pine Bow Front Four-Door Cabinet, Denmark circa 1830-40

The great appeal of this remarkable four door cabinet is largely due to the original brick red paint, which has been scraped leaving a soft, raw feel to the finish. The six turned columns were originally painted white, now providing a faint and subtle contrast to the red. Note in photos there is also some faint, residual green paint remaining (especially the upper left door). Interior later painted green.
Cabinets with bowed doors are harder to come by, making this one special, with its country Biedermeier style.
The entire armoire is restored, strong, stable and ready to be used and enjoyed. Four keys are included as pulls (locks no longer function).
All scratches, cracks, dings, and age related separation are reflective of age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this original painted bow front cabinet.
