This lovely and elegant French antique bureau plat or writing table has a variety of veneers with 3 working drawers (opposite side has 3 false front drawers).  
The decorative brass ormolu and hardware is all original and create the look that made these timeless French desks famous for their fashion around the world. 
Restored, strong, stable and ready for use.
The original vintage brown leather top shows typical signs of wear from use such as scratches and wear/distress to the embossed border.
Three keys are included. While the old locks currently function, buyer may choose to keep unlocked and simply use the brass pulls for easier use.
All scratches, cracks, dings, stains, age related separation, bubbling to veneer, etc. are reflective of age & use and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this striking desk. The brass ormolu shows some tarnishing.   
The skirt to floor height below the drawers (where one would sit) is 23.5"
